This is an album (Three of three) of nature sounds recorded around or near to Palupohja in the Alam Pedja reserve in Estonia during spring of 2017. I had the privilege of devoting a full month to my passion of recording the sounds of nature.
I arrived there in the last days of April and stayed till the end of May.
I was out recording on most mornings and often in the evenings too and managed to get some quite diverse material like the spiders and the pond bats (The spiders can be heard on disc 1 track 2 and the pond bats on disc 2 track 9). Though I am an amateur recordist I have professional standards and equipment. Equipment; A Sound Devices MixPre microphone pre-amp, a pair of Sennheiser MKH8020 (Omni) microphones and a Marantz PMD661 recorder. Most recordings were made at 48khz / 24 bit.
