I travelled to Belize seven times. On three of these trips I visited the little village of Na Luum Ca (Mother Earth Village), in the foothills of the Maya mountains in the south-east of the country. I was most impressed with this part of Belize. The village only had a few traditional thatched houses, so it was quiet and the area surrounding was really diverse with always something new to see and hear. With each visit I heard species I had not heard before. I have not listed all the species for this album as I was not always able to put a name to what I was hearing. Recorded during a three week stay, January / February 2012.
