about

This album was recorded in various places along the east coast of Ireland between 1985 and 2004 (Except for track 4, this was made in Killarney county Kerry). Artwork by Mary O’Doherty and my father Desmond O‘Brien.

Except for tracks 1,2,4 the rest of the album was recorded in analogue with an Uher 4200 open reel analogue recorder running at 19cm/s - 2 track. The microphones were Sennheiser modular types, K3U bodies with Me20 heads mounted in a 20 inch fibreglass parabolic reflector.
